I used to like the browns when they had Brian Sipe and the cardiac kids, years ago when the almost made the Superbowl, oh wait the bengals have been there twice.

The bengals will be in the playoffs, maybe the Browns will but all I know is the Bengals own the Browns the last few years, not yesterday though and we will see when the browns come to Cincy if the bengals can rectify.

The bengals did NOT look like a AFC playoff team.. now NFC, maybe. Seriously, bengal fans need to quit crying over this loss and not justify it by calling on your "stellar" history (2 superbowl apperances, 0 wins, whoooooo!!) and figure out a way to fix the defense. It has been a question mark all pre-season, and even last year. The bungals look like scUM.. good and sometimes great offense but no coverage, which then opens up holes in the running game once things get rolling. Carson Palmer is an elite QB, get a defense to help him. How the hell do you let a guy throw 6 TD passes, and lose!? Damn.

I don't know if anyone else caught this bit, but on Cribbs' second long return (called back for penalty), the announcers showed Hall trying to "tackle" Cribbs around the Browns 35 by shoving him in the chest then praised him for hustling down to make the tackle at the Bengals 5.

I don't know if I'd go with "equally shitty". The Bengals went 8-8 last year while the Browns were going 4-12. I'd say neither franchise is in particularly good shape right now, but I'd say the Bengals are in better shape (for now at least ).

And I'm not sure a 6 point loss on the road in a hostile environment on a short week while being -2 in the turnover battle makes a team "much worse". the Browns were the better team, but only 6 points better. :p

The only two good things for the Browns to take from this game is 1. Derek Anderson isn't so bad and 2. you won.. Other than that I'd be pretty disappointed in the play of the Browns.
