I also watch it every week. I would have told everyone about it, but as we all know, rule #1 of the football 4 pack is that you aren't allowed to discuss the football 4 pack. :biggrin:

Well 3 of us are here... Watching on DVR... just showed how scUM won't win either of the last 2 games... bad containment on any type of running plays. We will exploit that to no end.

They re aired the living crap out of all 4 shows except beyond. 9 is the live and 10 may be a re-air. I believe you are right that they re-air all 3 before the Beyond show......
Just checked... schemes is re-aired like crazy tonight and tomorrow but Big Ten BB takes up the space that was the re-air zone for the other 2 shows.

It's an ok show. The concept is great but I'm not a fan of Dinardo or Mason.

First time I have seen it. In general I agree about Dinardo and Mason, but as an alternative to watching ESPN do superficial Xs and Os I will gladly take these two.

You don't like their big fake football field and seemingly how they show the same thing week after week after week :slappy: I agree Behind the Schemes is superior to what ESPN does in so many ways. But then again when you get a monopoly on a market like they do, you can be as lazy as you want.

ESPN - and pretty much everybody else including the NFL gurus - show what is happening on a particular play and generally as it relates to two or three players. That play is also shown in isolation - not as part of an overall game plan. "Schemes" is showing exactly that - the schemes that teams run and how they generalize against other offensive and defensive strategies. I feel I learned a good bit from watching.


But then again when you get a monopoly on a market like they do, you can be as lazy as you want.

Excellent point.

I am starting to think that this Big Ten Network thing just might have legs.
