First time I have seen it. In general I agree about Dinardo and Mason, but as an alternative to watching ESPN do superficial Xs and Os I will gladly take these two.

I guess we were all doing the same thing last night. I just found it as well. Agreed that it's better than the Micky Mouse club... Maybe this is a great big duhhhh... but the focus on B10+1 teams and the break down that we get with that focus makes it pretty easy in my book to look past Dinardo and Mason.

And is it just me or is Mason trying a little too hard to be the Dicky V of the BTN?

I enjoy the old man banter at times. Dinardo making fun of Mason. Plus like said before, they do a solid job of laying out the schemes of a team. I think Mason was a bit off last night in saying that Tress will run TP a bunch. With TP banged up he has shown that he won't run TP more than necessary. They already showed the play action off the power run though earlier in the season. It's especially good if you haven't watched the opposing teams games ad nauseum.

Ya know... you post reminds me of something that I was told in grad school. It was right before a defense meeting. My chairman told me, "Remember, you know more about this topic than anyone else in the room." I kind of feel like we know more about our team than anyone... as it should be. But the gray beards in room still know their shit pretty good... Like Dinardo and Mason... their depth of tOSU knowledge may not be as great as many on BP, but across the board... they do a pretty good job breaking things down.

Like I said before, I'll take them over the Micky Mouse Club any day.

I also watch it every week. I would have told everyone about it, but as we all know, rule #1 of the football 4 pack is that you aren't allowed to discuss the football 4 pack.

whats the second rule of the big 10 4 pack?

good god i hate those commercials.

agreed, there is a lot of really good info to be had there. it should be mandatory viewing to be a football fan.

I just can't watch Mason anymore. The NMSU game was the straw that broke the camels back. I see Mason and I get this picture in my head of him standing outside Gene Smith's office holding a boom box over his head playing Peter Gabriel's "In Your Eyes" like John Cusack in Say Anything ...

I like DiNardo, Mason not at all. I am very, very, very happy we got Tressel instead of him.

However, the best scheme info is at buckeyefootballanalysis.com. Replete with videotape to support what he is saying. A former coach does it.
