Bee swarm kills 3 dogs, injures woman in Florida

RIVIERA BEACH, Fla. (AP) ? A 70-year-old woman is injured and three dogs are dead after a swarm of bees terrorized a neighborhood in South Florida.

Authorities say crews removed 50 pounds of honeycomb from the side of a home in Palm Beach County after Friday's attack. The hive has been contained.

The bees swarmed Nancy Hill and her two dogs. Hill was treated at a hospital, but the dogs died. The bees also attacked two other dogs in the neighborhood. One of those died and the other was injured.

Lab tests should determine whether the bees were Africanized bees, also known as killer bees. Their stings are no more potent than an ordinary bee's, but they are far more aggressive and attack in swarms.

Out of control Nutria. Baboons, Groundhogs, moles. Nature is completely wild and untamed these days. It's times like these I wish more people were watching nature films like "Man Vs Nature... The Road To Victory"

Hey ! Don't be going there ! If Humans can be out of control so can he rest of nature.

Can contained bees live for days ? Do they let them out for 3 hours a day to collect pollen ?
Do the bees have to wear tiny little ankle bracelets? Do they get time off for good behavior ?
Inquiring minds wanta know.

There's an easy way to get rid of "killer" bees. Just bring a few of these bastards over here. (I love this video)

I'll take my chances with the africanized bees than tussle with them. They killl something like 40 people a year in japan.

Sure, but they'd whoop some killer bee ass.

Not that I would ever want to encounter toxic bees the size of my thumb.
