Agree - never step away from the bong.

Right now AP is clearly the best, but if you are talking 10 years I like McFadden. I think he has a frame that can add more weight and power.

As well as Beanie is doing he does not compare to the Soph season for either of the other two.

Not sure about that:

Adrian Peterson 2005 (Soph) - 220 Carries, 1,108 yards (5.0) 14 TDs (He was injured 4 games)
Darren McFadden 2006 (Soph) - 284 Carries, 1647 (5.8) yards 14 TDs

Beanie - Carries 195, 1165 yards (6.0) 10 TDs (3 games reamining, at 20 carries per game, times 6.0 per carry = 255 for 1525)

I thus disagree that Beanie is out of the conversation (if I might overstate your position :wink2:)

It would be interesting to look back in 5 years with these 3 guys.

Peterson is already the best RB in the NFL already, so barring injury, we all know what he is capable of.

McFadden IMO is the interesting pick. He is a beast now, but I'm trying to decide of what kind of NFL impact he will have. He has the potential to do what Peterson is doing, but who knows what could happen with him.

I like what Beanie is capable of becoming. He is already big enough to be a power NFL runningback, but has the speed to make him special. At the rate he has been improving already, can you imagine what he can become after a few more college seasons, and if he finally gets completely healthy?
