BCS Title Game: LSU +1.5 vs Bama (ov/un 40.5) Mon Jan 9th 8 ET, ESPN

Alabama's win over Arkansas is better than anything Boise did this year (UGA was not that good, losing to Scar showed they were the 2nd best SEC east team. Because of that Auburn upset...) I also think Auburn turned out to be a decent win, better than the Penn State win.

I am saying Bama followed the Boise script of winning one impressive game all year, though they are permitted a mulligan when they lose to their only BCS caliber opponent.

Auburn was a decent win like PSU usually is. A solid conference win, nothing to impress national pollsters when considering who should get a NC win. Auburn was very lucky to even be ranked.

Really this year was largely hot garbage outside of some sparty magic, which is fitting given the off field drama that dominated this year.

Utah was weak up front compared to Alabama. Boise State was weak up front compared to Oklahoma. Wisconsin was supposed to knock Oregon & TCU around.

That's why they play the game. OkSt. got shafted.

OkSt. has plenty of threats, you just don't hear about them. Their 2nd leading receiver has 20 or more receptions than the leading receiver on either team playing tonight. Whether you want to believe it or not, OkSt should be playing in this game.

Besides Blackmon, I dont see any receiver being able to challenge Honeybadger, Claiborne, KirkPatrick, or Baron. Those are all future 1st round picks.

Maybe OkieState should be playing in this game, but its their fault for losing to ISU. They controlled their destiney and failed

Any different than Bama controlling their own destiny and failing......but then still getting in?

Look at who Bama lost too, losing to the #1 ranked team is way better than losing to unranked Iowa State. And tonight they are showing they deserved it.
