BCS Title Game: LSU +1.5 vs Bama (ov/un 40.5) Mon Jan 9th 8 ET, ESPN

Yeah, because transitive property always works in sports.

You *think* they would destroy any other team in the nation. I don't have to think that because ESPN tells me so. I don't despise the SEC by any means, I despise the chest thumping and dick pulling by blind followers.

I guess thats what it comes down to, the eyeball test. What you think. Just my opinion, but from what i've watched and anaylzed OkieState would get destroyed. They are weak up front and beside Blackmon they have no other offensive thread (randle is a good RB but would get trashed by this bama/LSU front 7 imo)

Next year, USC will most likely get their chance. That should be a great matchup

The difference with those arguments are, OkieState lost to unranked Iowa State (finished losing their bowl game) I would be behind this if OkieState didnt have a loss and were behind the odds

Meanwhile Alabama won as many quality games as the old Boise State teams did. Hurray for one win resumes!

Very glad I did not tune in. I would watch either opponent against someone else.

It was a pretty steep drop from LSU, to their next highest-quality win...

PS - wonder how many folks left the game, to join Bourbon St. I'm sure that's WAY more exciting.

Alabama's win over Arkansas is better than anything Boise did this year (UGA was not that good, losing to Scar showed they were the 2nd best SEC east team. Because of that Auburn upset...) I also think Auburn turned out to be a decent win, better than the Penn State win.

Utah was weak up front compared to Alabama. Boise State was weak up front compared to Oklahoma. Wisconsin was supposed to knock Oregon & TCU around.

That's why they play the game. OkSt. got shafted.

OkSt. has plenty of threats, you just don't hear about them. Their 2nd leading receiver has 20 or more receptions than the leading receiver on either team playing tonight. Whether you want to believe it or not, OkSt should be playing in this game.
