BCS Title Game: Auburn -3.5 vs Oregon (ov/un 74.5) Jan 10, 2011

Do any other athletic brands have as big an inferiority complex as Under Armour? UA's ads have been like this for 5 or 6 years running now, always with the veiled references to Nike. I really can't think of any Adidas or Reebok campaigns that were like this.

If you were aggressively pursuing a market who would you target within that market? Naturally you'd try to position yourself as a better alternative to the dominate player.

Who should UA be going after....Pony?

Hell if I was UA I'd be putting up clips talking about every time Nike comes out with new 'exclusive' cleats for some team ... that said team ends up having problems with Nike's new uber-design because they're garbage.

For me, my anticipation rises more with each passing day. I imagine that's because I'm surrounded by one of the two parties.

I'm feeling more and more like this will be a Duck victory as well. Just something in the air.

It will be interesting to see how the teams Defenses play considering Malzahn and Kelly come from such a similar background.
I wish I could care about this game, but... meh, I just dont
For me it's pretty simple...one school kicked a QB off their team for stealing a laptop, the other school pursued a laptop stealing QB from another team in order to be more competitive.

Still doesn't mean I want to watch whatever day glo monstrosities their parent companies make them wear for the game though.

I'll watch the game, but I can't seem to muster much enthusiasm for it.

Auburn is truly one of College Football's biggest cesspool programs. Those fucksnaps would happily drown their mothers, twice, for a Championship.

Even so, if it weren't for the Cam Newton situation, I'd be on their side simply because of Arkansas native, Gus Malzahn.

I don't like Oregon any better though. Their idiotic uniforms make my eyes vomit and Chip Kelly is a dick.

I think Auburn's slightly-better-than-the-Duck defense and Cam Newton, who truly is the most dominant player in football this year, gets it done over the Duck.

Is it legal to directly use Cam Newton to advertise a pair of shoes? I'm not sure if the TV spot shows Cam like this video, but it's pretty easy to guess who it is from the build and the uniform.

I dislike both teams so much that I booked a flight from DTW to LAX at 7:30 Monday night. When I land, I hope to hear that the game was canceled and/or that it was declared a draw due to the maximum point limit being reached. :tongue2:

I think Oregon is going to get 'em, which is unfortunate for me b/c I have to go up to Portland for a while for work and if you haven't met Duck fans in their natural habitat before, they are some of the most insufferable creatures on God's green earth.

They take it for granted, as indisputable fact, that they have the best program in the country.
