Well, when Terry Baker, QB, Oregon State, 1962, is as close as you get to the Heisman, and this is as close as you get to an NC, "The 2001 Oregon Ducks finished the year as the No. 2 team in the country, going 11-1 and beating No. 3 Colorado in the Fiesta Bowl to close out their season."

His post indicated that Baker was from Oregon St. I think he was saying that the closest that Oregon has gotten to the Heisman is when a player from Oregon State won it.

More I think about this the more I can't see how Oregon wins. In fact I don't see how they avoid a real ass whuppin' along the lines of 14 to 21 points. Oh well, another voided NC seems to be in the looming in the near future.
