Begining this morning, we were hoping to see either West Virginia lose, or Missouri lose. West Virginia is currently losing 13-7 (3:12 to go, they're about to get the ball on a punt), and Oklahoma just scored a touchdown to go up 21-14 with 4:04 to go in the third quarter.

So my question is - who gets in the national championship game with Ohio State? I've heard people say that Georgia is next, but that they shouldn't get a chance because they couldn't even win their division. I'd imagine that Kansas has the same argument against them. Next is Virginia Tech and LSU is back there somewhere. Can VT or LSU jump over those other teams, just because they actually won their conferences?

Thoughts?

Edit - may be a moot point, as West Virginia is knocking on the door to taking the lead. Maybe we should wait to see how this turns out before we think too much.

Did the Big East commissioner pay off the referees to ensure that a Big East team makes the National Championship? Damn this is horrendous to watch, there has to be some sort of conspiracy going on in Morgantown.

I just want to share a pm from me to another poster that sums up how I felt.

With no dominant teams out there it just made sense especially going into rivalry week and championship games. Even if UCONN can't pull it off, Backyard Brawl is always tough. Anyways, we are looking good... I was getting annoyed with the Rose Bowl Avatars and some posters attitudes of "it's good enough".... Fuck that, we are a dynasty and we belong in the championship every year...you can leave that bullshit with Cooper.
