South Louisiana Here

Hello and welcome to South Louisiana Buckeye Fans. I am a huge LSU fan, but that does not mean that I hope all the Buckeye Fans feel left out hospitality wise in the Swamp!! I have read some other LSU forums and most of what I hear from them is that you guys are class acts to hang out with. I hope that All LSU Fans show you the same respect in and around New Orleans. Yes, there will be trash talk before and after the game, but all in all I hope you all have fun while you are here and come back one day to party or take in some of the culture. Do not leave without asking where to get a bowl of the best Gumbo nearby. If you are feeling frisky enough wonder off during the tailgating and taste some food from the locals. They will not hack you up and put you in crab traps like some of the locals may say. This season has been one incredible ride for college football. A big thanks to all the college teams and fans for their support. May all of you travel to Louisiana and back home safely. That being said Geaux LSU and have fun Ohio State at the Superdome!!

Wonderful that you can activate this at almost any moment in the day to see Scarlet prowling the French Quarter :osu:

:oh:

:io:

I've taken a gander at this several times today, and I keep seeing this George Clinton lookalike standing in the middle of the street. (Not to mention dozens of buckeye fans in almost every shot.)

Lafayette huh? Don't let the 3 remaining UL-L fans know you're supporting LSU. Penis envy at its finest.

Russ Crawford said he will watch every moment of the game, hoping that the "purple and gold nation will taste bitter defeat." Crawford, who says he wouldn't root for LSU if his own mother played for them, has one New Year's wish: The Tigers will lose in their own state.
"Maybe then some of Lafayette's residents will wake up and realize that they have a great university in their own backyard to cheer for," he said.

does anyone know how good lsu left tackle is??just wondering to see what Vernon Ghloston has to go up against!:osu:
Top of the depth chart at that position is 6-5 315 pound Sophomore Ciron Black.

Rivals rated him as 2nd Team All-SEC LT
.

Black has started 25 consecutive games at left tackle for LSU. He recorded 11 knockdowns in back-to-back weeks against Florida and Kentucky, and has helped LSU rank 12th in the nation with 219.5 yards per game.

Not chopped liver by any means.

For those of you interested here is the information on this cam, I was asked last night after I posted it about where it was located so that people could tell friends where to go and try and get screen shots. No offense Wells4Heisman but I had already posted it but I am glad it didn't get lost. Also the website has webcams from all over the world so if anyone is interested just go to the site and have a look.

Info on the Bourbon St. Cam:

This street level camera reveals the heart of New Orleans. Check out the locals and tourists on the corner of Bourbon and St. Peter Street from the balcony of the world famous "Cat's Meow" where Karaoke was launched in the US in 1989.
