My wife has gotten to the point she asks if its a big game or an easy one. If I say big she just takes the kids and leaves the house for 4 hours. Nothing she sees or hears from me on gameday suprises her, the kids or the neighbors anymore.

we had only been together for a little over a year at that point, and weren't living together, so she just saw a few banners and screen savers, not quite realizing the extent of my obsession. Now she's right there next to me jumping and yelling :biggrin:

I lurked back then. I did not attempt to show my head by joining until months afterward, and then just mostly hung around the open discussion board, thinking I should "ease" into a football mode - given the - umm- situation.

(and by that I mostly mean my genetic dispoistion to be a smart ass:biggrin:)
