Game Thread BCS National Championship Game: tOSU 24, LSU 38 (final)

I know y'all played PSU at night on the road. Why aren't there more Big Ten night games? Or am I missing something? We prefer night games at LSU, and a few other SEC school (Florida is an exception I believe).
1) Tradition.
2) Weather. It can be pretty cold at night in october. Our extreme weather appears the opposite of yours (daytime heat).
3) Fans. Shortening the pregame drinking helps curb some of the nonsense, sending many home afterwards.
4) Lights. OSU spends insane amounts of money, but have to wheel in lights for late aft & night games. UM as well. Ridiculous, I know.

1) Always a good answer. We've been playing at night for 75 years now. Fans get a little upset when CBS picks up our games for that 2:30 (CT) time slot. We'd much prefer ESPN at &:15 or better yet 8:15.

2) It's not the heat, it's the humidity. Don't know what the weather will be like come early January (it changes every other day all winter long), but don't be surprised is it is really cold. I've never been up north in winter months, but when Illinois came here for the Sugar in '02, they actually were complaining about how cold it was. The thermometer may not say it's really cold, but it does feel it at times.

I think Dorsey needs a hug.

Well now Dorsey has gone and stolen Animal's Nagurski! Congrats to the big man, any chance of a lengthy banquet circuit? :p

Hopefully he was a little happier than when lifting this trophy:

Dispatch

LSU fans confident, but respect Ohio State

THE COLUMBUS DISPATCH

The National Do Not Call Registry blocks telemarketers, not newspaper reporters, but Norman Sutton still sounded more than a little suspicious when an Ohioan rang him up out of the blue. Sutton, who operates Sutton Dry Cleaners in Baton Rouge, La., thought one of his bayou buddies was pulling his leg.
"Aw, come on. This is a joke," he said in an accent as thick as jambalaya. "What are you selling?"
The answer was nothing. The point was to buy, not sell.

Worst. Movie. Ever.
Worse than Child Under a Leaf? I seriously doubt it. Although CUAL did have a section where Diane Cannon runs through a field of wheat to meet her lover stripping off her clothes as she runs and is nearly bludgeoned to death by her "pendulous breasts."

Just received this gem from my brother-in-law in Louisiana. And so it begins.

It was entitled:

"Ohio State band's reaction to finding out that the Buckeyes will be playing LSU in the BCS Championship Game"

Anyone got any good LSU pictures for payback?

That is actually from the Florida vs tOSU NCG last season. Guess we need to get someone who can count, to fix the yardage markers painted on the field.

She is on DuVal Street in Key West, not in New Orleans!!! You would notice this if you were looking at the entire photo!!!!

You are correct. Couldn't find a pic that I thought would be allowed here, so I threw that one instead. You see stuff like this on Bourbon St. as well (well maybe not if it's cold next month).

Edit: Police even enjoy the show here. (mods, delete if necessary)
