Got my bottle of Blue Label ready to bust open (have about five neighbors coming over to watch the game and help me polish that puppy off should we indeed become national champs).

God help CCI, I've got a whole case of Mountain Dew and a large bag of ice ready to go. The girls are trained in proper drink preparation, so I'll not have to miss any part of this monumental game!!!!

Terrelle Pryor Picks Ohio State to Win

By Thayer Evans

Terrelle Pryor has yet to make his college choice, but he?s picking Ohio State tonight.

That is, the Jeanette, Pa., quarterback is picking the Buckeyes to beat Louisiana State in the Bowl Championship Series title game.

The nation?s top high school recruit of 2008 and the most valuable player of Saturday?s U.S. Army All-American Bowl, Pryor said he isn?t sure where he will watch the game, but might do so at a friend?s house. He said he picked the Buckeyes to win because ?they are on my final list? along with Florida, Michigan, Oregon and Penn State.

?I?m going to just watch it to see a good game,? Pryor wrote in a text-message this morning.

Even if Ohio State wins tonight, Pryor said a national title wouldn?t sway him toward the Buckeyes. He said he doesn?t want to be ?recruited by wins and losses.?

cont'd...

Reading some chat recaps from various sites for the game tonight, and I'm seeing a number of suggestions by journalists in NOLA that OSU fans have secured 35-40% of the dome, possibly more ...

So much for the home field advantage. Way to represent, Buckeye fans!

Just read an Ivan Maisel article where he hinted a 50-50 split of the crowd may actually be possible. He seemed to base this on what he's seeing on the street today. I'll believe it when I see it but it wouldn't surprise me knowing our fanbase.

Go Buckeyes!!!!!
