True...I meant in the aspect of confirming their stupidity...because lets face it...I will gladly take all the dissing of tosu if we end out on top..AND even if they do not eat crow...its the 2nd title in 6 years which should shut them up for at least 13 seconds:biggrin:

Actually his was suspended for the bowl season last year. He was suspended for 1 calendar year after the 2006 Ark game. He missed the Sugar Bowl last year...

I think FSU is also looking at suspending those players for the first 2 1/2 to 3 games next year. But that should be discussed in the FSU thread in the College Football forum.

LSU: Flynn fine

Good news from LSU
LSU sports information director Michael Bonnette described as baseless and false a WAFB-TV report that cast doubt on the status of quarterback Matt Flynn.

Sports director Steve Schneider of WAFB cited unnamed sources as telling the station ?it?s going to be hard for the senior quarterback to make it through the BCS title game against Ohio State with the injury he has.?
Bonnette disagreed after speaking with team doctor Brent Bankston after practice.

?It?s not accurate,? Bonnette said of WAFB?s report. ?Come game day, Matt Flynn will be as healthy as he?s been all year.?

Flynn missed LSU?s 21-14 victory Dec. 1 against Tennessee in the SEC Championship Game after suffering what teammates and staff described as a shoulder separation a week earlier against Arkansas.

Ryan Perrilloux played in Flynn?s absence and was voted Most Valuable Player.

Dauterive, who coached Perrilloux at East St. John, said Flynn looked good Wednesday.

?He threw some nice balls,? Dauterive said. ?I think they can take more chances with him now. They don?t have to hold him back, because if he gets bumped or banged up, Ryan can come in there and do his thing.

For what it's worth, he's the managing editor, so he probably controls all the propaganda! :biggrin:

Also, he has the best record picking games out of any of the scrubs that write for sportsline, even better than the computer (Harmon).

Man this long wait sucks, since the BCS NC game was announced, we had rampant scUM coaching speculation leading to rr being hired. This brouhgt on discussions of choking, felony recruits, and his attempt to sway our #1 recruit. Then speculation of 2 tOSU CB's being suspended, now down to 1. Throw in a Troy Smith Baltimore QB controversy and all I can say is hurry up January 7th. Oh and thanks for staying classy (most) Tiger fans.

Don't forget the appearance of a truely arrogant scUM fan to make us all remember why we hate those arrogant fucksticks so much. Sniper, HTM and crew have been making us soft in that department.

Good point Jax, thank God the PSU tools went back to their cave and the WVU dolts who still lingered after their debacle against Pitt are in meltdown mode (at their own site)

This Clifford situation got me thinking about this BCS NC game from a little different perspective. LSU fans, if I remember correctly, you have a lot of senior leadership on your roster (sorry to lazy to research it now:biggrin:) tOSU has much less, but relies heavily on sophs, rfreshman and even true frosh, does anybody see the greater upside in that these youngsters now will get 20 more practices under their belt and will tOSU play their best game of the year because of it. It seems to me that these guys have the most ability to grow through the bowl preperation simply because of the game slowing down and the "oh I get it now" factor.

Cam, Dex, Ross, R.Small, DWorth, Chimdi, Dane, TGib, BRolle, BSaine and others who contributed large and small (no pun intended) will be more seasoned and confident. Once again hurry up Santa and come on January 7th
