That seems right to me, I missing nebody?

As for the players in bold, 'Geaux' asked about players who would be starters on the 7th. Either those three won't be, or it is at least questionable.

And are you sure about Barton and Boone?

I doubt that you could produce any evidence that Ohio State deployed offensive tackles in that game.

I only ask b/c I had referred to LSU's senior leadership, and was curious as to how many players OSU had left that had actually played a role in last years game. I didn't realize you had that many that had a significant role on last years team, I guess b/c Troy Smith and Ginn stole most of the headlines. If in fact you DO have that much returning experience, I'd say my point is moot, and the "experience" factor is a wash.

Quick question, How many starters for OSU saw significant playing time during last years title game??

None. The players of last year's game are gone.

I think what you are trying to say is that none of this year's starters showed up for last year's title game... but neither did any of the guys who left.

I feel the loss of Ginn at the very start of the game might have demoralized us somewhat and in the end helped caused our play.

Russell is a wildcard. He did not play last year, leaving OSU with the much more limited O'Neal (who was a 5-star at one point, while Russell was a 2-star.) He was OSU's best safety and started last year, but got knocked out vs Iowa on special teams. He was the victim of a NW cheapshot (which looked BAD), but fortunately he was alright.

However, that bonus starter is somewhat canceled out by DE Wilson, who started last season & bowl. He was injured for the season, and if he is able to play, it will be his first real action since sept.

Just to play devils advocate, is it possible that your players showed up but Florida was just better? I never see anyone admitting that possibility. We play them every year and I promise you, they can be very good.
