  • Who holds the career record for yards rushing vs Michigan? I would have to believe that Beanie is close. He has over 400 yds vs Michigan (2006-60+, 2007-222, 2008-134)

    Any idea?

Those numbers were posted before The Game this year. I'm pretty sure it was Jim Otis, before this year, but I don't know the number. Let me find it.

I thought it was Archie and the number is over 500 yards...

Seeing as Archie had 31 straight 100-yard games and 34 100-yard games in his career, chances are good that he had 100+ yards in all four of his games against Michigan...

EDIT: Didn't see bkb's post above, so Archie didn't have 100+ yards in all four Michigan games.

I was shocked by that too... I would have bet money he was 4 for 4 on 100 yard games v. Michigan up until about 20 minutes ago...

    Here's what Jim Otis did

    114 - '67
    143 - '68
    144 - '69
    401 - total

    Here's Archie:

    075 - '72
    163 - '73
    111 - '74
    046 - '75

Here's Beanie, who has taken over the career lead:

    056 - '06
    222 - '07
    134 - '08
    412 - total

In other good news, he took over the career lead in The Game from somebody from TSUN. Here are the TSUN career leaders:

    403 - Jaime Morris

    331 - T. Biakabutuka
    329 - Leroy Hoard
    296 - Chris Perry

    288 - Rob Lytle
    262 - Bike Hart
    233 - Billy Taylor
    232 - Gordon Bell
    212 - Anthony Thomas
    204 - Ed Shuttlesworth

I believe the streak was snapped @ scUM in 1975.

That's true, for the official streak of 31. He was also held below 100 in the Rose Bowl after the '74 season against USC, but Bowl games weren't involved in the official stats back then, so the streak continued into the '75 season.
