How often do players switch between brands when it comes to shoe endorsements? I noticed KG started out with Nike (out of HS), then moved to Adidas when he was traded to Boston (IIRC).

I guess if the money is better with the newer deal, wouldn't see why not. Pretty sure Garnett was lucky too, that was right around the time the NBA was switching from Reebok to Adidas as their official apparel brand.

Kobe switched from Adidas to Nike. I thought some of his adidas shoes were awesome.

Crazy 8's, which are currently in stores again.

Edit: It was black had like a glassy blue/green orb thing on the outside more towards the toe (i think). Not sure if Nike or Adidas. I think the bottom was blue. There was also a little rubber nubs on the outside where the sole wraped up around toe area.
