FLINT, Michigan ? According to multiple reports on Sports By Brooks,
an independent sports blog, Flint's Mark Ingram has been linked to a
memorabilia/NCAA rules violation scandal involving a Tuscaloosa, Ala.
menswear store owner.

Sports By Brooks reports that Ingram, who left Alabama after his junior year
to enter the NFL Draft, was used to advertise T-Town Menswear, owned by
disassociated Alabama booster Tom Al-Betar, who, on the web site, is
photographed next to an in-store advertisement ("The Mark Ingram Heisman
Suit") of Ingram, a Flint Southwestern grad, which was intended to market
clothing.
I'm SHOCKED!!!

The NC2A has an investigation program for this sort of thing, I suggest we let them handle it.
Besides, it's not that hard to sign 35 pieces of memorabilia over the summer if you hit the pen real hard.

August 1st called, it wants its attention span back.

Conversely, it is comical that this is the first ounce of media coverage this received. I get why espn ignores it, but surely there are some southern media outlets that would enjoy the carnage.

Whatever. I know I don't speak for anyone but myself, but it doesn't make me feel better about the NCAA, Ohio State, or the other accused team when this kind of stuff emerges. I wish the NCAA could focus its attention on something that really matters. It's hard for me to see who the victim is here.

Somebody call Homeland Security. I always knew the Saints and their fans were partial to Al-qaeda

The funny thing is I read the comments below SBB's glam shots and its funny to read the barbs between Au and bammers and they reference his nationality alot.... my IQ went down 5 points after I left the site

Nobody, quite frankly. They say they're "protecting amateurism", but really...who the fuck cares. This is all you see because now that the flood gates have opened, the rats have come flooding out of the sewer because they see their opportunity for some time in the limelight. It's all absurd, and honestly, is souring me on college athletics. I don't feel the enthusiasm for this coming season like I have the previous 20+, and that sucks.
