Baltimore Ravens (Official Thread)

John Harbaugh out as coach of Ravens after missing playoffs

Harbaugh now becomes the hottest name in the coaching market if he decides to return to the sideline for the 2026 season.

His agent, Bryan Harlan, told ESPN's Adam Schefter that in the first 45 minutes after Harbaugh was fired Tuesday, Harlan received calls from seven NFL teams expressing interest in his client. There currently are seven NFL head coach openings, including Baltimore's.

Sources told Schefter that Harbaugh was expected to emerge as a favorite for the vacant job with the Giants.

The Ohio State football program had to deal with multiple coaches from TTUN cheating against them. The NCAA punished multiple Michigan coaches for their roles in the scandal. Jim Harbaugh decided to run to the NFL instead of facing the punishments in college.

When Harbaugh left to become the head coach of the Chargers, he took defensive coordinator Jesse Minter with him. Minter was able to escape the show-cause penalty that the NCAA handed him, as well. It was pretty clear that neither Harbaugh nor Minter was ever going to coach in college football again.

TTUN was able to escape the harshest penalties after the Connor Stalions scandal was exposed. The NFL clearly doesn't care about the lack of integrity of these coaches. In fact, Minter has gone from disgraced college defensive coordinator to now getting a head coaching job in the NFL.

Former Michigan coach Jesse Minter gets head coaching job with the Baltimore Ravens

Minter was hired as the head coach of the Baltimore Ravens on Thursday. The Ravens fired John Harbaugh after 19 seasons, so they were in need of a new head coach. For some reason, they decided that Minter was deserving of the job as opposed to other candidates.
