Grad- I had almost the exact same experience in 1995 driving from New Jersey back to Ohio. Try kicking the shit out of your drivers door...then have the injectors checked. That was the problem with mine.

You might want to check your fuel filter too.....I have had problems with mine a couple of times....I've been told by other Jeep owners that they are known for that....

I think it is pretty standard to replace that whenever a new fuel pump is put on.
