Freaking IU with a lame duck coach is going to put it together and get in.

To be fair, IU spent a ton on NIL, I'm thinking a lot more than OSU. I'm not blaming NIL for OSU's struggles, but IU should not have ever been in this position to start with.

I’m not defending Diebler any longer. Poor rotation when it mattered most. No way Glover and Mahaffey should be in there under 5 minutes left. They bring very little to the offense. My goodness, what happened to Mahaffey. He has regressed incredibly. Has he been hurt?

People still will say you can't blame the coach. Tons of poor mental mistakes is a reflection of the coach IMO. You could argue it got WORSE as the season went on as well, which is definitely not a good thing.

He was just going through the motions out there, seems like he gave up on this team as much as he could without actually giving up on the team. Just seems to have checked out.

These guys have no sense of urgency about them at all. I’d love Thornton to stay, but he deserves better! Kinda like Garrett in Cleveland. At least he’s getting 40 million/yr. Mobley fell apart at the end of the season. Maybe fatigue or just bored. Who knows? These seasons last way too long in my opinion.

No bones about it, this was a clunker to end the season for OSU. The team just didn't seem to have enough fight today, and clearly they were not completely focused and on top of their game.

If the don’t make the big tourney, which they don’t really deserve, I’d decline the NIT.
