B1G CCG: THE Ohio State University vs NW’ern: Sat, Dec. 19 in Indianapolis, Noon on Fox

Yep...it’s like he knows what works, but needs to prove he’s smarter than everyone else

I don't even think it's trying to prove he's smarter. He just prefers to pass, but at some point you have to just go with what is working.

I really expected a run-heavy game plan with receivers out due to Covid. Sparty rushed for 195 yards on these guys. Sparty.

I think the coaching in this game partly goes back to lack of game reps for them as well. They don't know their team well enough to adjust in the ways they would like and don't have the confidence in the players to do so. That results in even more stubborn "stick to the plan" play calling than normal. In my IMO, of course.

Thank god for Trey!

I mean, we're still going to have to throw the ball. I get what people are saying, but they're not going to run the ball 40 times for 300 yards in the second half. That wasn't a risky play call.
Based on averages right now 40 carries would get the Bucks 400 yards.

And I hated that pass play...one option for a QB that is struggling. NW knows every pass play.
