B1G CCG: THE Ohio State University vs NW’ern: Sat, Dec. 19 in Indianapolis, Noon on Fox

We gave them an excuse to jump T&M over us if it's no longer for all the marbles. So if it's 3 v4 I could see that but worry about that tomorrow.

Texas A&M wasn’t exactly impressive against the best 3-7 team the world has ever seen (Tennessee). That being said, you’re probably right because the only conference that matters is the SEC (and Clemson).

Ironically I came out of this game much more concerned about the offense. Defense played their hearts out even being short handed and dudes dropping all game. Offense was missing only Olave yet looked absolutely disjointed all game. What’s even worse was the stubborn refusal to stick with the run, especially in the red zone. That absolutely can’t happen should we make the playoffs.

I'm not sure we are playoff caliber on either side. Primarily from lack of cohesion. But today didn't change my opinion of our strengths much. We still are still going need to outscore whoever we play next. The only team we might face with a defense in the same league as NW today is Clemson. On the flip side, we definitely won't see an offense as bad as the one we saw today.

Ohio State wins the Big Ten Championship with Trey Sermon setting the single game school rushing record in a 22-10 game.

Just like we all predicted.

For sure. Especially early on this season when Sermon was struggling and Fields/Olave/Wilson looked like they were playing against air.

We're gonna get a 5 year overdue rematch with Bama arent we?

Probably unless Clemson either loses (not likely) or beats the brakes off ND (more likely). Gotta be honest, if Fields and the rest of the team aren't full go, I see us losing to Bama by 2-3 touchdowns. If we are fully healthy...maybe we can keep it close and somehow come out as the better team that day. Not to be negative Nancy but that's my honest assessment...but hey, that is how I felt when we played Miami in '02 and we know how that played out.

Just brutal to watch at times but watching Sermon cementing himself in the program’s history was fucking awesome

That sums up my thoughts...the game was mostly yelling, drinking and stress, but I need to reevaluate. We just won our FOURTH straight B1G title in a season that was cancelled. This has been a shitshow of a season but we need to be very grateful for all of this. Urban said it after the game but winning rings better never get old. We just need to enjoy today and this accomplishment...however the chips may fall with the playoffs, let's see.

A day like today, where you’re missing your #1 WR, would’ve been a great game to get the TE involved. But noooooooo why would we do that. Ruckert has been mostly wasted in this offense as are most of our TEs, but as we’ve seen he has big play potential.

I don’t know how you sell a highly rated TE on coming here....
Remember when our TEs had like 150 yards in the first game of the season in 2019? Man those were good times.
