How's that? the extra point was worthless. they might as well not even have bothered kicking it. Losing by 1 is the same as losing by 2.

you dont get it. what if MSU gets 2 FGs and Whisky scores a TD now its tied. mid way through the 4th, ya. early 3rd no.

No it's not.

If they miss the conversion then score another TD and extra point for instance, they'd be up by six instead of five. Just ask Purdue how valuable it is to have a six point lead instead of a five point lead.

...And that's just one of many scenarios that can take place with 33% of the game still remaining.

I feel as if it also depends on how the coaches feel the offense is rolling. If you think you can score again, the extra point is great. If not, then you have to think about the 2-point conversion because you may not have the opportunity to get down the field again. In this case, Wisconsin has the ability to score as well as stop Sparty's offense. So kick the XP and only be down by 1.

Is FOX allowed to play any other theme music for sports on the national network (the one they use for NFL)?

I can't recall if they play it for baseball, but know they play the NFL music for English Premier League soccer on FOX (for some reason). And they're playing it tonight.

They did it for the Champions League Final last year. I almost vomited.
