So you're pinning Nebraska's inability to sell tickets on the opponent, then turn around and say schools like OSU and Michigan would sell out regardless of the opponent? Again, everyone always said Nebraska would easily sell out. And I would say Nebraska historically travels just as well as OSU or Michigan. I'm not trying to dispel that. I just think it's a little more nuanced than you're making it out to be.BlufftonBuckeye;2269925; said:1. IU and Purdue absolutely take over Indianapolis for the B1G Mens Basketball tourney. Games involving either are impossible to get into. Indy is such an easy trip for both schools, you can be sure they'd out-perform Wisky and Nebraska this year.
2. I would absolutely blame it on a poor opponent. Wisconsin sucks. 5 losses. That's tough, if not impossible, ticket to sell.
3. I understand the money argument, but believe me, tOSU in the CCG will fill it up, regardless of opponent. Same likely goes for scUM. As far as going to both, Buckeyes travel incredibly well, it won't be an issue.
Ultimately, this is a horrific matchup, not interesting at all. Wisconsin doesn't deserve to be there, and everyone knows it. It's been hard to drum up any interest in this, as worst case Wisky knocks of Nebraska and the great embarrassment of the B1G gets to lose another Rose Bowl.
