B1G CCG: #1 tOSU vs #2 Indiana in Indy, Sat. Dec 6th, 8 ET on FOX

Congrats to the Hoosiers. Just a little bit better today. A really evenly matched game and they definitely deserved to win.

So many small plays that could have been the difference. If Sayin doesn’t underthrow Smith on the deep ball and they get 7. If the sneak is successful. If Fielding makes the FG. If Matthew’s can break up that TD pass. I said it already, but the margin in a game like this is razor thing and comes down to a single play and Indiana made that extra play tonight.

You remember going into the season how uncertain we were about how good this team would be after replacing all that talent all over the field? If I’d told you then they’d go undefeated until the B1G championship game where they’d lose by 3 to an undefeated team, I think everyone here would have been happy.

It’s a disappointing loss. It sucks. But god damn. Get some fucking perspective before you trash any coaches or players. That’s far more embarrassing than anything I saw in the field tonight,

Well put. I would never doubt where Hartline's heart and intentions are after all we been through. He's frankly a bad play caller in the RZ but even a lot of the bad play calling can't excuse the bad execution.

Give them some credit for forcing us to be in those positions.

We have 2 or 3 weeks to come out with a game plan that will reveal just how good we are.

Seriously, Day, recruit a competent fucking kicker. Spend the money. I know you think you’re an offensive genius and plan to score touchdowns so you don’t need to kick field goals. The evidence says otherwise. The first phone call Jim Tressel made when he got the job was to Mike Nugent. Tressel had as many national championships as you have and way more wins against Michigan and conference championships. More conference championships than Urban. Please pull your head out of your ass and pay some attention to the kicking game. Elite coaches do that.

How many games do you have to lose because your kicker sucks does it take before address the problem? That’s not the only problem you suffered in this game but it was pretty big fucking problem and it’s been a weakness for years.
You realize he’s one of the most accurate kickers right in OSU history?

He’s missed important field goals.

He’s not in the fucking position if it wasn’t for the offensive play calls.

Stop blaming the kicker.

Because if he makes it? IU kicks a game winning field goal.

Your not all wrong, and I have respect for you, but the guy missed a 27yd field goal dude. Hes gonna get some blame. Also I would have loved to put it on this defense to get us the ball back or hold it up for OT. All day every day

hard to complain what Day has done at OSU

Inability to adapt is an issue though. The team fought their ass off and played well enough to win.

If these 2 teams play again, I 100% have Kienholz playing a major role when they need a yard or 2 for a first down
Eh he's adapted his whole damn career other than the kicker. He went from high flying big play offense to efficiency monster this year. He's went through 4 separate defenses.

Adaption is not his problem. And even if you say he plays tight sure but he went for it 4th the 1st time when everyone wanted and kicked it during the end of the game where he would have been ripped again if they went and didn't get it.

Sayin just took too long to get his sealegs back when they punched back.

And also we didn't appear to have any 15-20 yard plays that last drive.
