For Ohio State it made sense - it was 3rd and long. If you don't convert it, then you gave Indiana 50+ seconds to play with.

It didn't make any sense for Indiana to not call a timeout there.

They didn't want to open the door to Day actually having to try harder to convert the 3rd and continue the drive. See 2024. Playing to keep it respectable and maybe get 3 seed instead of 4 seed.

Yes thats what I mean. Sayin missed two easy tds, but he had more pressure than he is used too. They have made him "twitchy". Hes never seen pressure like this, or the zone shifting they are doing. Hopefully they can calm him at haltime.
