I think Sayin is having a hard time because of the plays. I debated on whether to say Julian or Brian. But right now we seem very predictable

In the same 40 second play clock, Joel asked why Ohio State didn't take a timeout and then asked why Indiana didn't take a time out. Oblivious to the answer to both questions.

For Ohio State it made sense - it was 3rd and long. If you don't convert it, then you gave Indiana 50+ seconds to play with.

It didn't make any sense for Indiana to not call a timeout there.

If they had completed the 3rd down pass and concerted, they still would have had enough time. But Indiana has no time now as a result. It’s fine. They were moderately aggressive. Took a few shots while making sure IU wouldn’t get one.

If they go 3 and out and give the ball back to IU with 90 seconds left, who knows?

Sayin doesn’t know what he’s looking at and he’s just as likely to get sacked or baited into another INT. I have no problem raking the air out of the ball and regrouping at halftime. He’s clearly been off all game.
