B1G CCG: #1 tOSU vs #2 Indiana in Indy, Sat. Dec 6th, 8 ET on FOX

Welp...you live by the sword and you die by the sword.

In this case, it's the efficiency sword.

A very bland and predictable offense until the 2nd half is fine, IF you are executing at your usual efficient ways. Instead, they weren't, and the offense "got cute" and has looked kinda weird in the red zone all night long.

3rd downs tell the tale.

So does the time of possession.

Van Sickle should start from here on out.

Coaches say you win or you learn. In this case I think it's you win or you grow up. This team needs to grow up. Fast. Indiana beat them as much as they beat themselves. Hat tip. They were a bit more mature at the QB position and I think it showed.

Hell hath frozen over. Indiana is going to win this game. But that's ok - get back to Columbus and figure it out and move forward. They got a good team, they are still the most talented team in the country, tonight be damned.

Learn, grow and move forward.
IU got their second half turnovers

Missed FG, TO on downs and they kept up the harassment of Sayin.

I didn’t think they could do it with just the pressure but the turnovers did the trick.

They played well. Hats off.

Yep, we had 4 chances inside the 10 to just get 1 damn yard. Twice we had a single man route that failed, and once was a missed field goal. Only one attempt to actually get the 1 yard.
Yep. They're going to have to come up with some different plays for the Redzone going forward. Other teams are going to have solid D-lines too and we can't count on getting that precious 1 yard every time.

Lame duck coordinators are generally liabilities, whether it’s their own split attention or the HC muddying the water. Bring in Chip, even just as a ‘quality’ adviser,

Not even mad, extraordinary game by Indiana. I won’t lie, I haven’t been taken them entirely seriously. Won’t be so foolish going forward.

Beating any team twice is plus. If we see Indy in the playoffs, I expect (hope for) a very different experience.

What a great story Indiana is the last couple years.
We are immature.

I think we have 4 redzone trips and 10 points. That’s the game right there.

Offensive gameplan looked really random. Doesn’t look like they put anything together for Indiana specifically. And then in game some really crazy decisions on 3rd and 1 in the redzone. High risk plays for no reason. Just really an F game on the offensive coaching staff

I'm wondering if we're saving plays for playoffs (like QB runs).
