2026 AZ OL Aaron Thomas (Ohio State Soft Verbal)

Per Birm:
In speaking to sources close to the Ohio State side of things, there’s already been discussions about the Buckeyes plans for potential replacements. Landry Brede was offered a month ago and he’s a player that could fill that role but there will be others. Brede, a North Carolina State commitment, will return to Columbus for the second time in three weeks on Saturday for an unofficial visit.

Would always believe that Dad's team would have a certain ring to it. Not certain what being a legacy would do, as one still has to make the tackles, blocks etc. to get on the field. Do know that when I went to tOSU for my MBA, my Dad, a 3 degree tOSU legacy, said 'I finally got one of my boys to go to tOSU'. Guess we should ask Dylan Raiola?

Nothing new here, but appears that nothing is over until it's over. Having committed to tOSU, looking around seems to be from 'a position of power' when visiting. Going to a lesser school (Free Shoes U), might enable him to earn more NIL (maybe change name to Free Spending U), and make Dad happy at the same time. Overall, would rather he bolt now, rather than sulk and wonder what might have been. Revisit, with Brede in the fold, maybe add the OL from PSU, call it a day and an upgrade. Seems as if tOSU loses a guy, and then replaces him with a player that is more highly ranked. Gotta like that trend.
