and he has a couple more visits to Columbus coming up. Oregon and Utah are also high because Lockhart loves how those coaching staffs develop cornerbacks but the Buckeyes seem way ahead.

Interesting how much of a gap 247 and Rivals have for Miles' ranking. I think its due to 247 thinking he's a high end ATH, and Rivals sees him as a developmental CB.

It’s a compliment for cornerbacks when balls aren’t thrown their way and quarterbacks refuse to test their side of the field. That was the case with Lockhart over the weekend. The high three-star cornerback from Chandler (Ariz.) Basha was great in press-man coverage. He didn’t get tricked by double moves, he stayed with receivers through their routes and didn’t give up much the entire time.

The more it becomes a reality that Lockhart can become a Buckeye, the more I’ve been watching his film. He reminds me of Damon Arnette(without the off the field issues or bone headed flags) in that he’s an underrated DB due to not having his real position yet. Meaning will he be in the slot or outside, but wherever he focuses his time and energy, he can excel.
