7th at absolute best? but realistically no higher than 8th.

Hell, even the middle pack B1G gigs like Illinois, Iowa etc you can win just as much and don’t have the nut job expectations. Thats the real kicker to me if I’m a coach.

Ask yourself this: now that NIL has put a big kink in the hose of things like the Reverend Newtons collection plate approach to talent acquisition…what built in advantages do you have by taking the Auburn job?

these two are very interesting to rank.

Alabama has every advantage in the world (including the SEC offices in their back yards and pockets).

but you’re coaching against the ghost of Bear and Saban every Saturday.

Texas fans/boosters have no clue that their last title is nearly old enough to legally buy liquor now. And the one before that happened 5 years before the fucking Vietnam war ended.

these are easily the next 3.
all 3 could sneak into the top two or fall to number 6.
especially is a governor or someone like that unloads all 6 rounds from a .44 Magunum into the flagship schools’s dick, reloads, then does it again.
