Auburn -5.5 vs S Carolina at ATL (ov/un 61.5) 4 ET, CBS

Remarkable offense paired with an embarrasding secondary.

It is really too bad we never got to see pete carroll's dominant squads face off againsr the sec in the title game, particularly given their dominance in ooc matchups with sc and in their bowls. The caliber of nc squad has been down overall since the bush-young nc.

uf ou 08 was an exception (and bama tex couldve been without the injury), but this is shaping to be a third set of fairly flawed nc teams in five years.

Auburn and oregon have 1/3 of a team. It sure is an exciting third, but I still think miami, usc, texas would beat up on these top 2 squads, as well as the 06 and 07 squads.

Agreed. These games show exactly what the pundits always speak of "flashy Offenses." No mention of defense.
