New O-Coordinator Fisher realizes dream with FSU

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) -- Jimbo Fisher's ambition may be to become a head football coach, but Florida State's new offensive coordinator said Friday that he intends to follow some sage career advice a man once gave.

This is a very shrewd move by both Bowden and the FSU administration-get a top notch replacement in line before Mr. Burger King retires. Hiring the WVU OL coach is good to.

Hawaii is now in the market for a defensive coordinator. Wonder if grad21 is ready to make the move west.

Now why the hell would you ever leave Hawaii to coach at a 1AA school? The pay can't be that much more. It's not like, at 65, he's going to use this as a stepping stone to further his career, and HE'S LEAVING HAWAII!!! This is what I like to call 'a stupid move.'

At Portland State he will be the head coach; at Hawaii he was just the defensive coordinator.

Besides Portland is closer to Graceland (i.e. Elvis).
