It's funny because I see people in Saint jerseys, Bucaneer jerseys, etc.

This was one of the few things worth reading.

Basically the article is saying that only Buckeye fans are bandwagoners, wear jerseys(this was a wtf moment), hates hearing/reading about the team being trashed, and are the only fans that care if their team wins or loses.

They also found some way to mention the SEC. That was clearly a ESPiN site in disguise.

The fact this article came from a new yorker is ironic as hell. residents of that city barely understand there is an America west of the Hudson (similar to DC substituting the beltway for the Hudson), and their proud of it as supported by the famous cover of the New Yorker.

Do we take sports too seriously, yes. But so does the rest of the world in various sports.
