Saw a very similar scenario played out live and in color at the 96 Peach Bowl.
I was wearing OSU stuff but there with a bunch of friends who were UGA fans(UGA played UVA that year) and to make a long story short a bunch of scUM fags were sitting behind us in the nose bleeds of the Georgia Dome and started to give me a hard time.
I was a guest of a bunch of people at the game so I didn't want to start anything and just sat there quietly and took it. These guys were hammered so instead of just go away they got worse and worse.
Well the matriarch of the family I was there with(honest to God think of Granny from the Beverly Hillbiliies) finally had enough and stood up and told them to shut up and leave me alone I hadn't done anything to them etc..
The exact quote from behind was "fuck you bitch" and oh my god was it on from there. 5 or 6 scUMers just got stomped by at least 13 or 14 big ol Georgia boys who were in some form or fashion related to this woman, just picture over a dozen Jethro's defending Granny, and they still had to deal with Granny. The ass beating was severe to say the least, people got hurt.
Security finally showed up, restored order and got the whole story. Bottom line was those who could leave under their own power left with cops, those who couldn't visited Grady Hospital before they caught up with their buddies in the orange jump suits.
The fact I didn't go to jail, get my ass beat or even get dirty while all these little preppie scUM fans got destroyed was just too goddamn funny to me. I wish I had it on tape because it was as an old school, old testament swift and terrible metering out of justice as there could possibly ever be.
