BCS haters dream scenario: tOSU went undefeated this year, but was a close third behind #2 Texas in the BCS. Navy beating Army gives a slight boost to tOSU's strength of schedule, moving tOSU ahead of Texas in 1 computer, just enough to boost them ahead of Texas in BCS points. But the BCS bids have already been announced, and the Buckeyes are screwed!

Actually, I'm not sure if the BCS has just decided to ignore this regular season game or not. It appears to be the case. It's great that Amry-navy is back on a day when more people can watch it, but woe to the BCS is the above scenario ever comes into play.

I have always rooted for Army but I have to go with Navy when it comes to vcash:( Perhaps my bet will help Army because I did not pick one winner is the conference championship games this past weekend:)

Army has been getting bitch-slapped for the last 10 years and they actually get a bowl bid this year if they win. I'm pulling for the Black Knights. I bet the bowl committee is too given their replacement would be UCLA.

Anybody wanna guess how many UCLAns would fly to D.C. to see the Bruins battle Temple?

Good decision to move this game to the week after the CCGs. It gives Army-Navy a national stage and bridges the gap between the regular season and the bowls, which start next weekend.

There are a lot of Navy fans out in L.A. today. UCLA goes to the Eagle Bank Bowl if Army loses.

Yeah, I can see millions in L.A. huddled around their TVs hoping for that battle with Temple, in frigid DC, in December. :slappy:

Nice interception there.

Did anyone else chuckle a bit when Navy tried to draw Army offsides on 4th and 1 early in the game? I turned to my wife and said "They're trying to get a discipline penalty on Army???" (I would have said the same for Navy, of course)

Navy killing themselves with penalties, although a couple have been holding calls. If they hadn't held, the play likely wouldn't have worked.

Still 3-0, Black Knights.

Not surprised Navy has shut down Army's offense but Army's defense against Navy is a surprise.

3-0 Army at the half
