Arkansas 38, Alabama 41 (FINAL)

Congrats to Arkansas for making a steamrolling comeback and then playing prevent defense to get the loss. McFadden didn't play in the 4th because of "cramps"...I seriously hope the coach refused to put him in and he didn't take himself out, otherwise he loses some serious respect from me.

From what I saw it was the former and not the latter. He may have tweaked a hamstring and there's no sense in having him pop it and losing him for the season, even if it did cost them this game.

I agree, and that's what the commentators said too (though it was Mike Patrick, so I trust nothing he says). I like McFadden a lot actually, and it would seem totally out of character for him to take himself out of a critical game.

I would put that loss solely on Nutt. How can you throw the ball on third down and a mile when Alabama has zero time outs left? Incredible lack of game management. Fire that man on the spot... Gave Alabama 30-40 extra seconds to play with. Unbelievable.

Without the officials
A - stopping the clock for a needless measurement, and
B - Taking an eternity to restart the clock after the ball had already been placed ... which allowed 'Bama to get fully and comfortably set. ..

It is arguable that Alabama would not have had sufficient time to run off the winning TD play.
