Arizona +19.5 at Oregon (ov/un 62.5) Fri 7 ET, ESPN

I have nothing deep and meaningful to say about this game other than I dislike PAC10 football and am glad their TV deal sucks
I think I'll watch a #1 vs. #20 match-up (that happens to have Pac-10 teams) over the Purdue-Indiana game. At least, in general, I am a fan of Big Ten teams with a pulse first, then I just like quality match-ups. Sometimes its a defensive slug-fest (not often with Pac-10), sometimes its a back and forth scoring fest.

I had to stop watching after the Oregon left tackle took a full step before the snap and the long TD wasn't called back.

I agree whole heatedly with those saying the bullshit fixes by the conference refs and the contact rules are starting to affect my enjoyment of the sport.

They need to split things up into the leagues that want to play 7-7 flag football and the real game.

Fake or not, fans booing players who are down for an injury are not savvy, they're just assholes.

Also, teams that go for two in a 6-0 game or ice the kicker have no room to complain about a little gamesmanship from the opponent. If your gimmick can be thwarted by the other team's gimmick, maybe it's time to either just live with it or come up with another way to win.

These refs are too obvious on who they are trying to help. AZ players are being tackled well before the ball gets to them and no flag. An AZ defender looks at the OR receiver wrong and flags all over the place. Also loved the block inthe back on that long TD run that went unmoticed by the ref standing right there.

Can't blame the refs for that one...jumping offsides on 4th and 5 giving the Ducks a first down when the kick was missed.

And it costs them a TD. :shake:

Guy who's painted up like a fucking juggalo bails out Oregon by jumping offside. Instead of a missed FG, Oregon gets a new set of downs and a TD.

Now I see why the Pac-10 is constantly running commercials during the games - because their brand of football doesn't sell itself.
