Are you superstitious?

Sometimes when I watch any of my sports teams in the first half (or so) of their game, I'll switch the channel because I feel that they'll do better when I'm not watching. It's never gotten to the point where it's been late in the game and it's close and I switch the channel, though. Once it gets to that point, I finally seem to gain the knowledge that my team is the one controlling its destiny; not me. I'm kind of like 50-50 on the topic of superstition.

I am pretty bad when it comes to sports. I had all kind of things I did when I pitched. When it comes to OSU, if I am sitting in a certain spot when the Bucks are doing good, I stick with it. I have a friend who bought a house JT's first year, he had a OSU/UM party. JT's only loss to UM we had the party at my house. So, OSU is undefeated when I watch at his house, 4-0...and he is a UM fan.

I am. I wore my Ginn jersey up until the Penn State game then thought "the Bucks are 3-2 in the games I've worn this, something has to change." From then on, I started wearing the oldest, most worn tOSU shirt I have.

I am not superstitious, but I do have faith, and although I don't consiter that superstition, many do.

I don't consider faith superstion at all. Faith is the strong belief that you believe there will be a positive outcome to whatever situation you're in. Superstition is basically "hoping" that there will be a positive outcome in the end. I think that superstition is the exact opposite of faith. You can use either of these philosophies in your every day life. As for myself, I believe that superstition is used when you're not confident of a certain situation that you're in. A lot of it deals with heart and confidence, and firmly believing that there will always be a positive outcome in the end; and when it doesn't turn out the way you want, you have to have faith that something good will be made out of that situation.
