Here's a cgi of the Chicago skyline with the Chicago Spire, which is breaking ground in the next couple of weeks. 2000' tall, all condos, will be the second tallest building in the world after Dubai.

It's going to take some time to get used to such a striking building as part of our skyline. It's a timely picture though. My buddy has a sailboat at DuSable Harbor at the left side of the picture. I'm actually headed over there in about an hour to spend the afternoon drinking and sailing. It's a beautiful day here in Chicago although there's a Small Craft Advisory in effect so the backup plan is to just stay docked and drink.
