Apartments in Columbus

Ok, I think i've got a pretty good idea of what the city is like inside the 270 loop in that area but what about outside? Particularly on the east side. Gahanna I know is good, but if you linger a bit south towards broad street does it get sketchy? I know Bexley itself is nice but what about surrounding it..like when you linger up north towards 5th avenue (not crossing it, just TOWARDS it) or east towards Whitehall or even south towards Capital u?

Whitehall and areas surrounding Bexley are extremely sketchy. If you are looking for a few prostitutes and grams of crack I would recommend looking there. I would suggest going a bit more east on Broad St. toward Blacklick if you were interested in that area.

Agreed 1000%...Avoid Whitehall and surrounding areas, they are terrible

Seriously, you guys are huge pussies. Do the bars where you live have white tablecloths? :shake:

And you must be a douche bag to actually think that living amongst drugs, poverty, and crime makes you a "tough guy." Do the bars where you live have 24 oz. cans of PBR?

I spent 2009 and 2010 working on East Broad about 10 feet from Whitehall. The property crime and violent crime in the area is among the highest in the state. Spending extra money to be away from those areas is well worth it. You can save money by having a gun and a crazy look, but you can't have any nice stuff because people will fuck it up just to fuck it up. I was never scared of the area, but my car started with no dents and now it has about 100.

If you want to live in an area where bedbugs and cockroaches are common, the sounds of summer are gunshots and your car will absolutely be broken into, keyed, or fucked up in some other way it's the area for you. The extra money doesn't buy safety, it buys sanity.

There's a nice homeless encampment at the intersection of 5th and James if you really want to save money.

Someone's sensitive.

I'm tough because I have a beard, I bench 400lbs and I've killed before...and I'll kill again.

Lighten up, Francis.

Pshhhhhh, everyone knows the bench press isn't an accurate assessment of football strength, power clean is where it's at... wait, what are we talking about?
