if there's six shower heads.. there was a woman in that apt before... one of my bro-in-laws is a plumber... and every time he's ever did a 5 of 6 shower head gig... it was for a woman... and one is always directly firing at her crotch...

I haven't read anything beyond the first post by Vince, but I will throw out an equation that works out very nice for me.
My goal is for all of my monthly bills (Apartment, Car, Electric, Cable, Internet, Phone, Etc) to be under 125% of what my net pay is in a week. This allows you to live comfortably (within your means) and save quite a bit of money as well. I will give up a few luxuries in an apartment, however, if it is clean and in good condition. I don't like to spend too much on something that I don't own.
