Anyone else under a heat advisory?

Living in Michigan I sure never expected to be under a heat advisory. We are under one basically until sunset tonight. Temps are expected to feel as though it is over 100 out there. At 1:25 it is 91, but feels like it is 104.

Is this normal down south?

Just a typical day in the ATL. They apparently turn off the AC in my office bldg at 3 on Sundays. It is fucking hot now.

it's a little hotter than normal here for this time of year but nothing too bad. This is my second summer in Florida so I'm a little used to it now. Heat index right now is 103 with 70% humidity.

All last week it was middle 90's to lower 100's and with the humidity it felt like hell. Of course come winter time it will be -10 with lots of snow :(

In Chicago we had our first 100 degree reading since 1999. It got up to 102, with a heat index of 108.

I don't know what the humidity was here today, but at dusk I got brave and went out to fill the bird feeders. I don't know how a man can almost literally drop a testical from sweat for only carrying about 2 lbs of sunflower seed, but I almost did it.

Weird, didnt seem to bad over here in Eastern OH today................has been nasty up until yesterday, humidity went down and was beautiful yesterday. Today it was back up a tad, but nothing major. Tomorrow it's supposed to be 93, but I guess by Wednesday it's only supposed to be 78.

Temperature wasn't too high in Akron today but it rained in the morning and the hot pavement made it pretty steamy till later afternoon. Low 90's the next couple days then it cools off

a heat advisory? there are such things? is there a such thing as a "cold advisory"? hey, if you walked outside and didn't realize its cold. just given you an fyi, its reeeeally cold out!

We've had advisories around this area for several days, and have more today. It's supposed to be in the mid-upper 90s, and it rained this morning, so it will be extra humid and sticky later today. Heat index should be over 100.

I went out and mowed the lawn and did a little yardwork yesterday. I must have sucked down over a gallon of water, and didn't have to pee once.
