Anyone capable of discussing gas without politics? Anyone?

Thought gas was starting to slide down again, but it jumped $.15 a gallon here in West MI to $2.08 for regular unleaded. We are still a few weeks away from the higher cost summer fuels.

What's going on in your neck of the woods?

My wife joked that she was going to tell her boss she could not come to work because she could not afford gas.

Sorry to tell you that no car "REQUIRES" Premium gasoline. You're getting screwed by the manufacturer that told you that.

Ask any mechanic and they'll tell you that you don't need that high-priced stuff.

it was 1.89, however I just noticed this morning that they went up to 1.99 for the cheap stuff...

I'm assuming the gas is cheaper down there b/c you're closer to the refineries?

There's two ot three refineries within 100 or so miles from Ft. Collins. One in Denver and one in Sinclair, WY. There might even be one in Cheyenne...


On the news last night they were saying that the refineries can't keep up with demand...
