Try to win? Once you submit the bracket, you're done. There's no more trying. At that point you either root for good or evil. For you....$63 is all it takes to root for evil.

I wonder.......did you pick Ohio State or Iowa State? Did you root for your bracket? If you have Ohio State in the final 4 next year, but losing.....would you root for them to lose? It's only logical.

Try to win ? yes because I try to win with my bet. I don't bet money on good or evil I bet on me and my chances of winning. I don't let my fanship for Ohio State cloud my feelings about money. So yes I bet on iowa state. There's a reason they were favored by 5.5 points.
You didn't say who you picked. Is that because you secretly rooting for Duke?

I filled out like 5 brackets. I probably had Duke winning one of them. I think I had MSU beating them more often than not. I was in a survivor pool that cost $5 and you randomly assume the identity of a team after the first 2 rounds. If that team wins and covers the spread, you move on. If that team loses, you're done. If your team is the dog and loses, but beats the spread, you take over with the team that won. I randomly got Duke. I was pulling like hell for them to lose....because fuck Duke.

I don't understand why you aren't getting this from the multiple people who have tried to explain it to you. Go ahead and pick whoever the fuck you want. But once the games start, you're a fucking commie if you root for your bracket over the fun upset. I had Virginia in the F4 last year, but you bet your ass I was rooting for the 16 over 1 upset.
