I went to high school with a kid that died of an overdose (probable suicide). He was 35 when it happened. One of the last conversations I had with him he told me that his life was already so fucked up he didn't see the use of trying to kick the habit.

I feel for Andy, but this is the same son who (in his mid-20s) described how he liked being a drug dealer.

No, he was dealing heroin in poor black neighborhoods, like they need any other troubles.
