NBC producing it? It will be so over-the-top and over-produced that it will be unwatchable.
I'll stick the the replays on ESPN Classic. Because it just isn't American Gladiators without Larry Csonka.

I've been waiting for this forever.

Seriously, these shows are 20X better than the CSI crap and the 5 [no exaggeration] spinoffs and 20 copies of CSI.

I used to love AG. I remember they had this one 'roid case who looked like Peter North and would just go into a bitter, 'roid rage every time a challenger beat him. Outstanding.

I remember that AG came to C-Bus in the early 90's and held an event in (I believe) in the convention center. Ronnie Stokes the ex-point guard for the Bucks was a contestant.
In the obstacle course Stokes demolished the course record and it was haliorus watching the gladiators try to knock him off the grid. By the time they reacted he was gone.....
It was like trying to catch fly with with a tablespoon....

Believe it or not the guys on American Gladiators were actually pretty fun to party with.
If you remember Blaze (her real name is Sha-Ri), at the time she was married to a Marine who I worked with and some of us went up to see a few of the taping sessions and then hung out with some of the guys afterwards. They also came down to tour Edson Range and then partied with us afterwards.
FWIW Blaze's husband ended up on a AG ripoff show called "Knights & Warriors", he was the one known as Nightmare. He also had a small part in Mortal Kombat and a few other movies.
