The Stig
If you're looking for the best of the best and can afford to spend 200 dollars on a video card I'd look at the 7800gs by nVidia. This card is probably a little bit overkill unless you're really into your gaming. You'll also need a beefy power supply for this card. Atleast 400w but preferably 500 to be safe.
For about 130 dollars (110 after rebate) you can get a very worthy 6800xt that will pretty much keep you going until you do a complete overhaul of your system. It features GDDR3 ram along with 256 bit memory interface. It also happens to be the card that I just bought for my agp system that I don't want to get rid of just yet. :)
I don't keep up very much with ati cards because I guess you could call me an nvidia fan boy. I just think they put out better cards while also maintaining very solid drivers. But I have heard some very good things about the ati x800/850 series cards. Especially the platinum editions of those cards. From what I can tell they're a little harder to find now. But if you do happen to get your hands on one they seem to perform very well.
Let us know if you need anymore help. Good luck.
Oh and _ichigan still sucks. :osu4:
